ENGINE IS IN!!!
My friend and I FINALLY got an engine in his Eddie Lawson Replica yesterday. The motor is from a 1983 GPZ1100 that he bought for the motor a week ago. Yesterday we pulled the motor from the 83’, cleaned it, painted it, and slapped it in the 81’ frame. He is going with the original fuel injection for now and still needs to wire everything. He still needs to order a chain, pod filters, brake pads, and a shinny new Kerker. The motor ran really strong in the 83’ chassis, so I am looking forward to see it go down the road soon!
PROJECT 1100RR UPDATE
The body work for my 1981 Kawasaki GPZ1100 ELR clone is done. A big thanks to Bill Briggance for a spotless paint job! I can’t wait to pick it up and put it on the bike!
